Hey, what\u2019s the story? My name is Gareth Mullins, the Executive Head Chef at Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel. I am a true blue Dubliner, and Forbes Street is where my passion in celebrating Irish produce truly comes to life. Dublin is full of magic, from the charisma of the people to the atmosphere of the city\u2019s streets. We are privileged to have some of the world\u2019s finest craft producers on our doorstep, each of whom I feel deeply inspired by when crafting Forbes Street\u2019s ever-evolving menus.<\/p>\n

Here in Forbes Street stories, uncover the inspiration behind some of our dishes, discover the stories of our local suppliers and enjoy a collection of my own personal recipes that I have developed throughout my 20+ years as a chef.<\/p>\n
Our signature dessert, the Bollinger sorbet is served in a specially crafted base made from the Bollinger Champagne bottle itself. I thought that the bottom of the bottle provided the perfect size for a palette cleanser. So, I carved out the base of the bottle, cleaned and sanded it down, and now sit this sumptuous dessert in it for your enjoyment.<\/p>\n

When you order our cheese plate, take a look at the stone your crackers are served on. My culinary team ventured out to forage some sea stones from Dublin\u2019s local beaches. I then carved the stones myself so that they can house our homemade lavosh crackers, which are served alongside our delectable Irish cheeseboard.<\/p>\n
